When you visit Springfield Lakes it is well worth exploring the regions unique Wineries and Breweries, there are a range of tour operators who can take you for a full tour or go at your own pace and visit the cellar doors.
Winery Tours
Brisbane to Gold Coast Winery Tour, visit 4 award winning wineries and the Witches Chase Factory is an optional stop. Enjoy a two course lunch at one of the mountain top wineries and spectacular rain forest and farm landscape views.
Wineries include Tamborine Mountain Distiller, Witches Falls Winery, Mason Wines, Cedar Creek Estate Winery, Heritage Estate Winery or Fortitude Brewery.
Sirromet Winery Scenic Helicopter Flight
Enjoy an amazing 30 minute scenic helicopter flight to Brisbane’s premium winery Sirromet Wines. Take in the sights of Moreton Bay and Brisbane and enjoy 1.5hours at Sirromet Winery and restaurant, before returning with your personal pilot by helicopter. Tour departs from Archerfield Airport.
Gold Coast Horse-drawn Winery & Brewery Tour
This 4.5hour experience includes a horse-drawn carriage to take you between each winery.

- Kooroomba Vineyard & Lavender Farm and enjoy an a la carte lunch and wine tasting

Breweries And Distilleries
This neat little establishment is located in the historic ‘Pumpyard’ at 88 Limestone, which was Ipswich’s first water source in the last half of the 1800’s where the naturally occurring sweet and fresh spring water was pumped for the town. Today in it’s modern re-development is has become the home of 4 Hearts Brewing, est 2013. Enjoy delicious dining from Dovetails Dining and 4 Hearts Brewing beers at Pumpyard Bar where you can drink beer and just about touch the brewing vats at the same time.

For great beer drop into the brewery for a White Lies and try is for yourself, beers on tap include BABS Australian Pale Lager, India Pale Ale, Hefeweizen, Barrel Aged Russian Imperial Stout, Bust-a-Nute Brown Ale, Indoctrination Pale Ale, Amber Ale, Peachimpediment Peach Kettle Sour.
Plus they have some extra’s available bottled, there’s plenty for you to try and take some home when you visit White Lies Brewing.

For something a little different take a tour and learn about Australia’s Beenleigh Rum and how it is distilled. It’s Australia’s oldest rum distillery and still in operation using boutique brewing methods, operating from the original stone building for the past 130 years and sourcing molasses from the only remaining Australian family-owned sugar mill.

Tours operate Wednesday to Sunday from 10.30 and the last tour is at 2.30pm
